Our Progesterone Blood Test measures the level of progesterone, an essential hormone for regulating menstrual cycles, ovulation and supporting pregnancy. This test is most commonly used to check whether ovulation has occurred, assess fertility, investigate irregular periods or evaluate hormone-related symptoms. For the most accurate results, women are usually advised to take this test around day 21 of their menstrual cycle (or 7 days before their next expected period, if cycles are irregular).
