Full Blood Count

Probably the most common blood test on the planet. A Full Blood Count (FBC for short) is used to look for abnormalities in your blood. This test measures the number and status of different blood cells including red cells, white cells and platelets. A Full Blood Count can be used to check for anaemia, infection and a host of diseases which affect blood cells. The FBC tests for 13 key markers: Haemoglobin, Haematocrit, Mean Cell Haemoglobin, Mean Cell Haemoglobin Concentration (MCHC), Red Blood Cell Mean Cell Volume (MCV), Red Blood Cell Count, Basophil Count Lymphocyte Count, Eosinophil Count, Monocyte Count, Neutrophil Count, White Blood Cell Count, Platelet Count. *THIS TEST DOES NOT INCLUDE CHOLESTEROL, LIVER OR KIDNEY MARKERS* If you are interested in having those tested, check out our Standard Blood Test which includes a Full Blood Count, Cholesterol Profile, Liver Profile and Kidney markers.
